Your Bio

I've been into photography since the mid 70's, shooting with
my trusty Oly OM-1. I'm still an Oly fan, now using an Oly E-330 and E-3 on land and a C-770 underwater.

Photography is an enjoyable way to get out and see things that others typically don't take the time to see.

Heron Rookery : About a dozen mating pairs of Blue Herons set up nests on the James River in downtown Richmond. The male gathers twigs for the nest; then the female builds the nest with those twigs. (The photos are a little soft -- the range was pushing the length of the lens.)
